One Straw Farm produce is available at farmers’ markets and grocery stores throughout Maryland and the mid-Atlantic region. We have been regulars at the 32nd Street Farmer's Market also known as the Waverly Market for the last 17 years. Be sure to look for our stand there in the heart of the market on Saturday mornings from 7 to noon. The market is a lot of fun and we enjoy interacting with our customers, sharing recipes for vegetables and hearing from their kids about what vegetables they actually do like to eat.
Good Life Thursdays is hosted by Boordy Vineyards Thursday evenings June through August. Good Life Thursdays includes local farmers and music. Pick up your vegetables, stop have a glass of wine, and listen to music played by local musicians.
Mill Valley Farmers Market and Garden Center offers One Straw Farm produce along with other local farmers and local products. The garden center sells local plants grown in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Come visit, Thursday through Sunday 8-4 pm.
Lunch offered Sundays 12-3pm.
Whole Foods Farmers Market- In the parking lot of the Mt.
Washington Store. Wednesday evenings from 4-7 pm
And be sure to look for the One Straw Farm label on the produce in Whole Foods, and your local health food store. In fact, please thank them for carrying local produce.
They are doing a great service both to their customers and to us, the
local farmers.
If your grocery store does not carry One Straw Farm vegetables, please
ask them to contact us. It’s our experience that good grocery stores
will respond to requests from valued customers.
